Entrepreneurial Ecosystem Lab

L’entrepreneuriat

Over the past twenty years, entrepreneurship has become a genuine social phenomenon, suggesting that any of us could become an entrepreneur…

Entrepreneurship is making headlines. The highly publicised adventures of Steve Jobs, Bill Gates and Richard Branson remind us that entrepreneurs are the new heroes of economic mythology. The media are fascinated by these ventures, which start modestly in a garage or a student bedroom and go on to the Nasdaq. Yet entrepreneurship is not limited to these success stories; it takes many forms, from the micro-enterprise to the multinational, and unfolds in contexts as varied as high technology and the social and solidarity economy.

Over the past twenty years, entrepreneurship has become a genuine social phenomenon, suggesting that any of us could become an entrepreneur. While entrepreneurship is first and foremost a practice, it is also a discipline increasingly taught at universities as well as in business and engineering schools.

The aim of this book is to offer analytical frameworks and practical tools for aspiring entrepreneurs. It is intended for students, aspiring entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial support specialists.
