The entrepreneurial support ecosystem: what comes next? – 24.05.2022
The entrepreneurial support ecosystem has successfully weathered the health crisis. This critical period accelerated certain transformations. Digital transformation has influenced support practices as well as the contours of the ecosystem. Spatial transformation is a defining feature of this period, with both the increased mobility of aspiring entrepreneurs and the development of new spaces. More broadly, the entrepreneurial ecosystem is shaped by a postmodern societal transformation, with the rise of existential values.
In this context, it is worth taking a step back to reflect, from a forward-looking perspective, on the future of entrepreneurial support. This reflection can be conducted at the macro level, by examining the schemes and actions implemented nationally; at the meso level, by addressing the question of ecosystem governance; and at the micro level, by assessing the new strategies and practices of support actors, as well as the new needs and expectations of entrepreneurs.
This is the aim of this webinar, which brings together experts from the entrepreneurial support ecosystem who are at the heart of its transformation. The goal is to open a debate on how entrepreneurial support is evolving, one that is useful to all actors in the ecosystem: entrepreneurs, support providers, consultants, trainers/researchers, funders and policymakers.
