This article offers an innovative and original analysis of the legal market, drawing on the concept of the entrepreneurial sub-ecosystem as applied to the Île-de-France region. In a sector undergoing profound transformation, driven in particular by artificial intelligence, this research seeks to understand the extent to which this sub-ecosystem fosters the emergence and development of innovative projects led by legal entrepreneurs.

This exploratory study is based on semi-structured interviews with founders of legal start-ups (Legaltech). This initial study also highlights the main dynamics at work, while identifying the strengths and weaknesses of a sub-ecosystem that is still taking shape.
