Entrepreneurial ecosystems aim to bring together actors with diverse logics around a vision more or less shared of the territory\u2019s entrepreneurial development [1]. Beyond infrastructure and support mechanisms, the dynamics of these ecosystems rely on the construction of an ecosystem-based entrepreneurial identity, shaped by shared values, collective narratives, and mechanisms of mutual recognition. However, this notion remains underexplored in the literature.<\/p>\n

This issue of EE Lab Publications proposes to examine this concept through an analysis of one of Africa\u2019s most dynamic entrepreneurial ecosystems: that of Mauritius.
